We worked on Thanksgiving Monday

We worked on Thanksgiving Monday. Not everyone, and nobody was asked to. The office was open, a few of us figured a quiet Monday with no phones ringing was the fastest way to get caught up, and we took it.

We finished unpacking, set up our build room, and cleared a whole bunch of backlog.

We ate lunch together in the middle of it. That was the best part of the day and most of the reason I'd do it again.

If you came in, take the day back. Pick a Friday, leave at noon when nothing is on fire, whatever works. The work got done and that's the part I care about.
