Moving into Suite 250

We moved into Suite 250 this month. I spent the whole day with the movers, which was more fun than it sounds.

What I didn't expect is how much of a new space comes down to small decisions. Where the printer goes relative to the pillar in the build room. How much shelving fits on the left wall. Whether we need a toaster (we do). My shopping list is about three quarters kitchen supplies and one quarter refurbished machines, and I spent real time thinking about a sponge holder for the sink.

None of that changes how we work. People still choose when and where. But when someone does come in, I want the room to be worth the trip.

The best part has been watching everyone put their own stamp on their desks and rooms, like a Nostromo plaque from Alien. A week in and it already feels like us instead of a floor plan.
